ABOUT THE ARTIST: PABLO MILLA

A proud Jacksonville native, Pablo Milla is currently a working actor, voiceover artist and puppeteer in Los Angeles, CA. He is an alumnus of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (c/o 2013), where he studied Performance Theatre. After DASOTA, Pablo earned his B.F.A. in Theatre & Performance from Emerson College in Boston, MA. He finished his college education at the Emerson Los Angeles internship program, where he began his working relationship with VoiceOver LA -- one of the voiceover industry's premier non-union casting agencies and recording studios. Within the past five years Pablo has developed an exciting young career, amassing voiceover credits for such recognizable brands as Petco, Lunchables, Ninjio, Samsung, Candid Care Co., and MOD Pizza among others. He has voiced commercials, podcast audio dramas, music videos, interactive art installations, indie animated series, video games (Metal Gear Survive and the upcoming StormGate), and has English-dubbed foreign live action & animated films, and children's animation. He makes his on-camera Netflix debut later this year in "The Brothers Sun," starring Academy Award® Winner Michelle Yeoh. Pablo is thrilled to be giving back, artistically, to his Jacksonville community!

ABOUT HOMECOMINGS WITH THE 5 & DIME

Our theatre community is strong and vibrant because of the many thousands of theatre artists who have contributed so much of themselves to make Jacksonville an extraordinary city for the performing arts. Many of these artists continue to work here and many artists are now working in different communities, further highlighting Jacksonville as an important and shared part of artistic journeys.

In this series, artists with ties to Jacksonville who are working nationally as theatre professionals come home to join and lead our local artistic community in explorations of our craft.
