THE RUN OF THIS PRODUCTION IS POSTPONED.

Following the almost universal critical acclaim of HBO’s film version, we are honored to present the Northeast Florida premiere of The Normal Heart, a searing drama about public and private indifference to the AIDS plague and one man's lonely fight to awaken the world to the crisis. In Larry Kramer’s seminal, semi-autobiographical drama, we follow Ned Weeks, a gay activist enraged at the indifference of public officials and the gay community. While crusading to save the world from itself, he is blindsided by the personal toll of AIDS when his lover dies of the disease. The Normal Heart is a gut-wrenching and raw personal account of the chaos and fear present in the early days of the AIDS crisis, burning brightly with Mr. Kramer’s fierce, angry, confrontational pathos. It sears your psyche as an indictment of a world unwilling to face an epidemic of astronomical proportions, through the eyes of one man who’d finally had enough.
